On 4th November 2010 Levitan, Sharon & Co. organized a Seminar which dealt with various topics in Reinsurance. The lectures were given by guest speakers and members of staff including:
* Adv. Anthony Lennox lectured on developments in English cases - the "settlements conundrum".
* Adv. Rachel Levitan lectured on the Novation Agreements and claim management by Reinsurers (contradiction between treaty and facultative), and expected behaviour following changes in the law ("lost years").
* Adv. Irit Shapira-Weber lectured on special causes which enable cancellation of a reinsurance treaty in mid-term.
* Adv. Peggy Sharon lectured on the shirking by Reinsurers due to the Reinsured's behaviour and/or precedents which impose torts liability.
The seminar was followed by a questions and answers.
