Adv. Sharon Shefer, contributed the Israeli chapter to a publication of a Multi-Jurisdictional guide to litigation costs (published in March 2010) under the name "At What Cost?" - a Lovells Multi-Jurisdictional Guide to litigation costs.
On 13th May 2008, Levitan, Sharon & Co. held their Annual Seminar at the Dan Panorama Hotel for the Israeli Insurance Market, which was attended by more than 150 participants from all the leading insurance companies and insurance agencies.
The following lectures were given:
· Adv. Peggy Sharon gave a presentation criticizing the objection of the Commissioner of Insurance to application of Contributory Fault on the Insured's claim.
· Adv. Irit Shapira Weber lectured on Sexual Harassment and its effect on the insurance arena.
· Adv. Rachel Levitan gave a lecture on the Liability of an Insurer for Damages above the Policy Limit and the future effects it may have on the Israeli insurance market.
· Adv. Tammy Greenberg lectured on Criminal Proceedings - Coverage of standard Defence Expenses (not only relating to D&Os)
· Adv. Moshe Abady and Adv. Sharon Shefer lectured on new legal aspects relating to Class Action suits.
· Adv. Dror Zamir lectured on recent new legal aspects regarding Liability Policies (Professional and Third Party).
