Table of Amounts awarded for Bodily Injuries in Israel Multi-jurisdictional or Domestic Disputes
[1] There is a special legislation in Israel with regard to car accidents based on the no-fault system. As a result, certain types of compensation are limited by the law (pain and suffering and loss of earning). [2] The calculation is based on an average salary from the age of 21 to 67 (which is published data) [3] The calculation is based on a care giver for 24 hours per day (two shifts) and an additional assistant during the day [4] The calculation is based on the actual salary earned prior to the accident taking into account the number of years the injured still have until retirement [5] The calculation is based on a salary which is 30% higher than the average salary. The compensation will be increased accordingly (in car accident there is a limit of 3 times the average salary) |
