Practice Areas:

Israeli Corporate Law, the local cumbersome regulatory requirements of the insurance industry, credit insurance, factoring, debt collection,  merger and acquisitions, cartels, internet, e-trading and transactions in the newly developing area of alternative risk transfer (ATR).

During the years 1995 - 2001 Irit served as the General Counsel and the Secretary of Clal Insurance Group, which comprises about twenty companies involved in insurance, software development, insurance agencies, asset management and financial engineering, and served as the head of the Financial Lines Division of Clal. While with the Clal Group, Irit also acquired extensive knowledge about the practical sides of the insurance business, while managing the marine and financial insurance departments.

Irit has been appointed by the Commissioner of Insurance as Special Administrator of the Continental Insurance Company Ltd.

Irit has recently been nominated as a member of a S.E.C. Committee which was appointed to review the legislation regarding duties of insurance imposed on securities brokers and consultants.

LL.B, A graduate of the Hebrew University.

Irit has built, as a joint venture partner, a department with expertise in Israeli Corporate Law, Regulatory Law, Credit Insurance and Pension and Long Term Savings.
