A department manager at the bank had a strange custom: whenever clients would give him diamonds for deposit, he would pretend to get annoyed and throw them into the garbage. Then, he would take the precious stones and deposit them in the safe.

This is a true case our firm handled which is so bizarre there's no way we could have made it up:
A truck carrying new cars was making its way along the highway when suddenly, one of the cars rolled out from the rear, almost crashing into a bus that was driving behind the truck.
