A department manager at the bank had a strange custom: whenever clients would give him diamonds for deposit, he would pretend to get annoyed and throw them into the garbage. Then, he would take the precious stones and deposit them in the safe.
On one occasion, the manager recieved a package containing severel tens of thousands of dollars worth of diamonds and did his usual routine of throwing a fit and tossing the diamonds to the trash. On that day, he forgot to take a package out of the trash and only two days later did he realize he left the diamonds in the trash.
When the bank manager realized what has happened, he took his department manager and shovels and they made their way to the main landfill (a 30-meter-tall mountain of garbage). After several days of digging in the landfill they weren't able to retrieve the diamonds so if you happen to drive by that site and have a couple of hours to kill, you may stuble upon an bundle of nice stones.
